I didn't think I would want another cat, but now I do. It's really up to Dean. If/when he says it's okay, then we'll get one. Fortunately there
are lots of kitties in the neighborhood to pet and play with a little, so it won't be as awful as it could be. Like, if we were in a big house and had to
go really far to get to a neighbor's. Original comment »
Thanks, UA. Yesterday was the toughest. I was weepy off & on all day. I do know my hubby is breathing easier. He put up with his allergies for 18 years, so
while he's sad too, he's also feeling better if you see what I mean. Chances are we won't get another cat. Original comment »

I didn't get another one either, after I lost my Abby, she was old as well and was like part of the family. I 'm allergic too but she really didn't
affect my allergies at all, she was special. Now I've gone back to having no tolerance allergy wise so I can't get another one anyway as much as I
absolutely adore cats.
Hi sweetie. I'm hanging in. My cat died on the weekend. Well, she's disappeared anyway, but since she was really old (like 20 years old), it seems most
likely that she went and found a clump of bushes. Sigh. I've been sad off and on all day today. Yesterday there was still hope, but the hope has faded. She
is too old to go this long without a bite to eat. Original comment »

Oh cripes, I'm so sorry AMAI. Unfortunately at that age for a cat I think you're probably right. I'm so sorry, I wish there was something I could
do. {hug}
